Poster Presentations

Three awards will be given following the poster sessions. The posters and abstracts will be judged and selected based on scientific rigor, relevance, and innovative methodology.

Flash Presenter Award

Select abstracts will be nominated for flash presentation, then the top presenter will be acknowledged for use of time, engagement, and clarity.

Travel Awards

ERA21 Travel Award to Attend the Summer School on Innovative Approaches in Science

The Early Career Researchers Advancing 21st Century Science (ERA21) program presents the ERA21 Travel Award to Attend the Summer School on Innovative Approaches in Science. This award will give a student or new researcher the opportunity to advance their knowledge of innovative non-animal approaches in science by providing $1000 USD for travel and accommodations. This award is available only to attendees of the biomedical science track.

PETA International Science Consortium Ltd Early-Career Scientist Award

PETA International Science Consortium Ltd., will give a postgraduate student, postdoctoral fellow, or new researcher the opportunity to advance their knowledge of innovative non-animal approaches in science, including in vitro and computational models. The Science Consortium will choose one winner based on the applicant’s dedication to and capability of advancing non-animal toxicology. The winner will receive reimbursement for hotel accommodation up to US$550 and airfare up to US$500 for travel within the US or up to US$1,000 for travel from outside the US. This award is available only to attendees of the toxicology track.
